Forwards to Yahoo and 421 error

I recently picked up a new client who wanted me to set up email forwarding for her to her yahoo email address. Once I set up the forwards for her, I proceeded to test them and I am getting a 421 error. However if I send an email directly to a yahoo address without doing the forwarding thing it goes through without a hitch.

Does anyone know of a way to fix this?

According to http://www.greenend.org.uk/rjk/2000/05/21/smtp-replies.html, error 421 is a generic service unavailable error that can be sent in response to any SMTP command.
We will need at least the log lines related to the delivery to understand what's going on. Try /var/log/exim/mainlog.

What's probably going on is that Yahoo is expecting the return address to match the sending server. You can google lots of discussions on why SPF is broken when it comes to forwards, and you'll get the point. Not necessarily that Yahoo uses SPF, but the problem is the same.
