freeBSD 5.4 released

No perl by default. That is new and I imagine will take at least some time for DA to alter the installation.
 
I hope directadmin can support this soon.

I presently have a client whose server is running the latest version of DA fine on 5.4-STABLE. However you will note in order for bind to run properly with DA you either will need to copy your rndc to ndc as DA only uses the ndc command to do reloads from my understanding at this time. Either that or install bind83 out of the ports collection and then move the system named binary to named.old so the bind8.3 is found and ran. Also you will want to add inetd_enable="YES" to the /etc/rc.conf as imapd is called from the inetd wrapper.

I apologize if this has been said previously anywhere just felt the need to chime in to remind anyone who is trying to run DA on 5.4
