Hi,

Every night I get as Admin an message that says that I have to change my hostname by using the hostname.sh script, when I do that is says:
--------
Can't open /etc/sysconfig/network: Onbekend bestand of map.
--------

It's a Debian server and DA is comlied for it.

Can you translate the message into English?

Or perhaps someone else who knows the language in the error message can post it for us.

Thanks.

Jeff

/etc/sysconfig/network

is a valid file in CentOS and RH Linux.

If it's not with Debian, then perhaps you have some code from another version on your server.

I'd check with DA support once you're sure that Debian Linux doesn't have that file.

I have checked this on my system and the file isn't there I'm using Debian 3.1 and DA 1.25.5

this is a debian problem. I also have this.
When i reboot i have to execute the hostname.sh again. Verry frustrating.

but nothing to worry about

hostname.sh should be run during the startup, at least it is on all of my servers ;)
