How to not manage DNS for a domain ?

I want to host a website using directadmin but no mail and not manage any DNS feature for this domain.

I know I can uncheck "Use this server to handle my emails." and configure alternative MX.

But those mx are subject to change and I don"t want this to cause a problem later. For example mails from other users or hosted website sent by smtp through the same server will not reach destination.

Is it possible ?

Please clarify your inquiry. I'm not quite sure what you are asking about. You can disable DNS editing for users, check their packages at a reseller level.

I just want to host a website on a domain, but not having any DNS service for this domain on this server.

If the php script want to send a mail, or connect to a webservice with the same base domain (webservice.samedomain.com) it should query external DNS for resolving this domain.

I fear there is no way to do that in Directadmin.

It is possible to completely disable Named http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=25, but not for some domain.

That is what unchecking "Use this server to handle my emails" does. The script will be forced to look at the MX records from the nameserver handling the domain. There are lots of threads regarding this issue going back for years.
