Imagick active but not in options.conf? [Solved]

Last year on two of the servers I used this and imagick is working. However, today I was looking in options.conf and no imagick option was present there, while I would expect a line like this:
imagick = yes

So I tested on another server and imagick is indeed build, but also there no imagick = yes in the options.conf file.
Am I looking at the wrong place or is this a bug?

now all this moved to php_extensions.conf in the same dir
