IPV6 Problems

I've setup IPV6 on a VPS, however I can't get the site to show. Everything looks correct in DA. The IP [2600:3c00::f03c:91ff:***:***] brings up the correct site. The AAAA record is correct and I do not see any error messages on VPS.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Without the site name and the complete IPv6#, no one is going to be able to help you.

Even with it, only those who have IPv6 locally will be able to help you.

While I don't have IPv6 connectivity, hopefully some people will, and will be able to help you.

Check that apache is listening on that ip by checking netstat and also check the virtual host to make sure it looks right.

Check if you can connect to the ip only too.

Edit:

You are missing an AAAA record.

Check your spelling.

Got it running! Now my setup is IPV6 ready, woot! My IPV6 proxy was causing the problems.

I do think it will be along time till ISPs etc.. are IPV6 enabled though.

Yup only 20 more years or whenever a new internet is launched.

Hello

Your ipv6 address is accepting connections on port 80.
But it is redirecting me to a clouldflare ip to port port 2222, which I think is a little odd.
However no ipv6 address (AAAA record) is currently configured in your dns, so that might be a problem.

If you think there's really a shortage of IPv4 addresses, then think again:

http://www.thewhir.com/web-hosting-...es_IPv4_Address_Space_for_Multiple_IP_Hosting

It appears to be more about how much you're willing to pay and how much the hoarders are charging.

But the good news is I called a datacenter I'm not currently using the other day and asked if I could get a /24 if I rented a cabinet from them; they quoted it at a much better price as long as I could show ARIN justification. We're currently charging us$1/IPv4/month for extra IP#s with our server offerings after the base of an included /29.

But of course we require justification.
