Hi all,

I am trying to generate a Let's Encrypt certificate for one of my domains. This domain has got a domain pointer assigned.
The certificate that is automatically generated isn't including the pointer.

Is this a known issue / build by design? Or am I doing something wrong?

All the best from Holland,
Pieter

Unfortunately this will only work for a domain alias not for a pointer..

Hello,

Templates for pointers:

/usr/local/directadmin/data/templates/redirect_virtual_host.conf
/usr/local/directadmin/data/templates/nginx_redirect.conf

do not have sections for HTTPs, so either copy them into /usr/local/directadmin/data/templates/custom/ and customize, or add domains as aliases and use redirects by other means.
