Hello,

I have DA license which will expire on Feb 17 2022.
However, it is showing as EXPIRED right now!
Tired updating license with the below commands but still the same.
/usr/local/directadmin/scripts/getLicense.sh auto
service directadmin restart

Seems like some bug in DA licensing system.
Please help on urgent basis

Ticket #38361

Tried renewing the license for 1 month and now the expiry is Mar 19 2022 but still same issue

We had the same issue on some of our servers. We resolved it by updating to the latest DirectAdmin.
We still used a bit older version due to some bugs in DirectAdmin which were not resolved yet.

We are still investigating the issue.

Hi @smtalk, we're still in the process of migrating a couple of older Ubuntu 12.04 servers, but we're receiving the License Expired message after a license renewal. Did you turn of the older license compatibility today? I thought you were okay with extending the old licensing method for another month, as discussed in the thread above? Is it possible to get these up for a few more weeks so we can finish the migrations?

Stable branch has version 1.63.5 at this time, current branch 1.63.6. Both of them should work fine with the licensing.

I was using the *latest* STABLE DA version so this issue was not expected.
I make sure I update DA every time a stable version is released.

I got this reply from Gedas
I am still not sure if it was the issue Gedas reported or is a bug.

That explained that we saw the behaviour on random servers, that connecting to the licensing server was impossible for a while. I hope this can be prevented.

solution that worked for me even when I was using the Latest DA vesion.
Change DA channel to STABLE if using CURRENT 'or' CURRENT if using STABLE.
