MYSQL 4.0.23 to 4.1.22

I've looked at a lot of threads for upgrading mysql from 4.0 to 4.1 but most of them now point to @HOW@ update script which upgrades to 5.x. Is there a chance I could get some one to post proper updating instructions to upgrade from 4.0.23 to 4.1.22.

Use this for RedHat based OS:

mkdir mysql
cd mysql
wget http://files.directadmin.com/services/all/mysql/MySQL-client-4.0.27-0.i386.rpm
wget http://files.directadmin.com/services/all/mysql/MySQL-devel-4.0.27-0.i386.rpm
wget http://files.directadmin.com/services/all/mysql/MySQL-server-4.0.27-0.i386.rpm
wget http://files.directadmin.com/services/all/mysql/MySQL-shared-4.0.27-0.i386.rpm
rpm -Uvh MySQL-*-4.0.27-0.i386.rpm
/sbin/service mysqld restart
