My problem is a few customers cannot login because their router blocks port 2222 and they cannot get logged in. I'm trying to find a solution to this problem. I was wondering, can I bind DA to a certain IP address and it wont bind to any other? If so, I can take an IP address and bind DA to port 80, so no users can have this problem. Or another solution, I can setup port mapping from one IP, but I do not know much about this in FreeBSD 4.10. Any help would be appreicated!

Yes you can change the port DirectAdmin uses. It's set in the directadmin.conf file in /usr/local/directadmin/conf/

You can Not use a port that is used by another program. For example you can not use port 80 because that is the port apache users. You can't use the port ftp uses and so on and so forth.

Well, that's not a problem, I have lot of IPs, I can unbind apache off of one of the IPs. However, my question, I need to make DirectAdmin bind to only one IP, is there a way to do this?

Thanks

Not that I know of. Try asking DirectAdmin if it's possible (support@directadmin.com), but I don't think it is. Unless there's a workaround hack....
