I had a look at the Open-Xchange server before, and it really looks awesome, when it comes to the email, egroupware, calendar, etc. management, plus the web-based layout is impeccable.
What is the probability that you might be able to get this system to work with DA? Would you need to install it completely standalone, and then start using OpenXchange instead of Exim for mailserver, and disable all mail options in DA?
