open_base_dir enabled or not?

A small question about a doubt that I have for a while, open_base_dir should be enabled or not?

I use:

DirectAdmin 1.44.1
Apache 2.4.7
Php 5.4.22 mod_php
mod_ruid2

Depends on what you want yourself. Not enabling it is a bit better for security.

Oeps.... I'm very sorry I mixed them up, you are correct.
I wanted to write "is a bit worse" for security, then I wanted to write that enabling is better. But I only corrected worse to better and forgot to remove the "Not" in the beginning.

Open basedir should indeed be enabled for better security, thank you for correcting me.
