Hi people

Long time lurker, first time poster here :)

I was just wondering what directadmin's main OS focus is at the moment. Is development happening for RHEL or is FreeBSD receiving most of the development energy ?

Don't quote me on this...I don't speak for anyone but I assume they are working hard at finishing up FreeBSD and then looking at Fedora and other linux distro's as noted in the forums here.

Currently Supported:

RedHat 7.2
RedHat 7.3
RedHat 8.0
RedHat 9.0

FreeBSD 4.8
FreeBSD 4.9
FreeBSD 5.0 (BETA)
FreeBSD 5.1 (BETA)

Coming soon:

RedHat Enterprise 3.0
Fedora Core 1 (maybe core 2?)

Unsupported (at the moment - but working according to users)

FreeBSD 5.2 (using a DA FBSD 5.1 install / license)

I have read that directadmin installs all the packages it requires.. what RHE version would be required do you think ?

Hello,

We're in the process of getting a few more build systems for Fedora and Enterprize. Not sure how long it will take to setup them up and get it working.

When starting a new OS (Enterprize), we'll probably just be starting with the current stable release, whatever it may be at the time we start the install.
