I ran custombuild last night, seems like this version is not included yet. Unless im missing a step.

You probably are. Run ./build update and then check again with ./build versions

hi, try :

./build set autover no
./build update
./build phpmyadmin

after this, you will have the phpmyadmin 3.3.5
