Hi,
I run Debian etch, and have APF Firewall installed.
I need to close TCP Port 51234, and I have done so in APF.
However, the port is still open.
Any help would be appreciated.

Be sure to put the developer mode off in conf.apf:
# !!! Do not leave set to (1) !!!
# When set to enabled; 5 minute cronjob is set to stop the firewall. Set
# this off (0) when firewall is determined to be operating as desired.
DEVEL_MODE="0"
After that, restart apf (in red hat service apf restart)... Your firewall should work then...
