HELP! :C)
One of my reseller accounts has crashed twice in the last month or so.
The first time I just scrapped it and rebuilt it with all the emails.
Now it's happened again and I'd like to make sure it doesn't repeat.
Here's the details:
1. As of this morning, the reseller account's password had to be reset in order to access the account.
2. When going to Email Pop Accounts, I do not see any of the account and only see the following message: Cannot open the user password file for reading.
3. The website itself comes up as " You are not authorized to view this page"
4. When trying to add a user, we get: "Error creating account - Cannot open the password file to add the user."
5. This appears to have started as of midnight. . . . Checking error logs, we see the following occur at midnight last night:
[Sun Apr 16 21:14:33 2006] [error] [client 24.182.25.14] File does not exist: /home/jenursery/domains/je-nursery.com/public_html/404.shtml
[Mon Apr 17 00:56:56 2006] [error] [client 12.216.117.118] (13)Permission denied: cannot read directory for multi: /home/admin/domains/
6. When trying to change the quota for this account from the admin account, I get:
Error with system Quotas
setquota: Can't stat() mounted device /dev/hdv1: No such file or directory setquota: Mountpoint (or device) / not found. setquota: Not all specified mountpoints are using quota.
7. Messages to the user show the following:
Subject: User jenursery has used up 84.15% of his bandwidth and 0% of his allocated disk space
This is an automated message notifying User jenursery that 84.15% of his/her bandwidth and 0% of his/her allocated disk space has been used up.
It is estimated, at the current rate of use, that the account bandwidth will be used up in 2.64 days, at which time the account will be suspended for the remainder of the month.
The User should contact Support if this is an issue.

8. I've tried rebooting the server and suspending this account, no difference.
9. I am not familiar with linux or remotely accessing linux but am very go ho to figure it out. If anyone could point me in the right direction to accessing the command line (from remote location) as to what software or whatever is used, please assist!
Thanks!
