restricted access page for staff

Hi,

Is there anyway to set up a restricted access page for staff correspondence, files, notes, etc.

You can create your own authentication system in many languages such as php or perl.
You can also simply password protect a directory and give your staff members usernames and passwords using the directory password protection feature.
