If you have an user/domain that has SSL enabled while your created user packages got SSL turned off, SSL is being turned off when you assign a new package to that user. This causes the SSL website to become unavailable because SSL is turned off during the assignment and you forget to enable it again.
I know this works as designed as the new assigned package don't have SSL enabled, but maybe it is wise to either show an alert after the assignment ("user has been modified, WARNING: SSL was previously turned on but is now turned off, if you need SSL re-enable it again!") or skip the change of the SSL value (best option).
