Hi,
My DA server has two public IP's on it. One of them is designated for NS1 (name server one) and the other is designated for NS2 (name server two).

The IP address for NS1 states that it is the "shared ip" the IP address tied to NS2 states that is is "free".

Am I able to assign the IP assigned to NS2 to a domain so that I can install a ssl certificate on it without harming any of the operations?

Thank you

Since BIND answers on all running IP#s, I don't see any problems occurring.

Of course your best bet is to run your second DNS server somewhere else.
