subdomain for an user with principal domain difficulties

Hello,

Sorry for my bad english.

I have a problem with a subdomain for an user with my principal domain, i explain:

I have the domain: puma-network.net
I have created an user with a subdomain with my principal domain: http://teamtls.puma-network.net

A part of the day, this subdomain is down for one part of extern people and other can visited the website.


The principal domain is always OK.

What is the problem please? can you help me please?

DNS issue. The subdomain IP# isn't being returned by ns2.puma-network.com. Users who get a response from ns1 can see the subdomain but users who get a response from ns2 cannot.

Add DNS for the subdomain at ns2 and your problem should be solved.

That depends entirely on how you run your DNS. In a properly configured system, if ns2 were configured as a slave nameserver (using something similar to Master2Slave DNS Replicator [see these forums]), or if it were a duplicate master (using something similar to the DirectAdmin Multi Server Setup), it would pick up the changes automatically.

If you've set it up manually, then you need to duplicate the zone setup (if any), or the zone record, for the subdomain, in NS2 the same way it's configured in NS1.
