In the Admin backup panel a red box pops out on bottom right. Is here good or is there a bug report area?

Usually, you'd use the tickets, as the forum is mainly for community interactions, but no worries.
If you happen to remember which setting you were saving, let me know..
It's likely one of the values that affects the directadmin.conf.

I've attempted to duplicate, but was unable to do so.. it work when I modified any of the directadmin.conf settings from the "Admin Backup/Transfer " backup settings.

As I'm running the latest binaries, I'm not sure if it's a simple case of it already being fixed on my end, so if you can, try the pre-release binaries:
https://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=408

If it persists, let us know which setting you're saving and we can dig further.
If we need to login to check, please create a ticket for secure exchange of login info.

Thanks,
John

For this case, I'd be interested in the POST, so basically go to the Admin Settings, and before you hit "Save" run DA in debug mode with the "|grep string" option:
https://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=293

that way I can set my test box to exactly what you had, try it out and see what it throws.
It's not likely OS related.. and I'll assume it can be triggered with the latest version.
