Hi,

i want to upgrade from 1.2 to 2.0.

Can i expect anything strange or should it be done smooth?

I tried a time ago. But then al my websites were down. So i put back my backups.

Do i have to backup some config files?
When you run
./build all d

it doesn't update everything?

Thanks

Yes it does, but you should use the ./build rewrite_confs afterwards, like stated in the help.

http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=555

Changes? Well. There is a newer php and mysql version in 2.0.
When I tried, to prevent issues, I firstly updated my php and mysql to resp. php 5.5 and mysql 5.5.x before upgrading to 2.0.

Normally it should be a smooth process.

Thanks for the answer Richard.

The reason for the upgrade is that i want to have a php version selector. My server is now still running php 5.3 and i think that some scripts thats on it will not run in 5.4. So i want to be able to test it first with the selector.

So i do not want php already to be updated to 5.5

or can i update to 5.5, without losing 5.3?

Thanks
