Please consider having a look at for example: https://www.w3.org/WAI/ specifically https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG21/quickref/?versions=2.0&showtechniques=143#contrast-minimum to improve accessibility and general readability on the "refreshed" layout. By default this layout is quite hard on the eyes because of the mixed contrasts throughout the layout. News & Activity and Pro Pack advertisement now really stand out against light grey Control Panel tekst for example. The light grey on white background being hard to read anyway. Maybe other users with more experience in this area could help you guys out here?
