Hello Community :)

We have build a plugin for incremental backups (local&remote) and would like to welcome to you test it.

Plugin URL for install using plugin manager: https://download.modmaster.pro/directadmin/backup_manager/backup_manager.tar.gz
This is full featured 30 days trial version.
For remote backup it requires sshpass to be installed (some bug with auto install to be fixed)

We are welcome for any suggestions, bugs reports, issues.

Is it possible to recover single file from backup without extracting full archive?

Yes, user can restore single file, folder or database in one click back to any day your backup have made for.

And another great feature, you can have as many backup days as you want with space saving incremental backup.

Is rsync used to create incremental backups, what technique is used to make it incremental? Also is a mailbox restoring not added already?

Yes, we are using rsync for remote and local backups.

Currently you can restore mail, but we are working on restoring mailboxes too. This feature should be available on future release.

Wow, it seems like a plugin that we are waiting long time. We can help with translation to russian if you need.
Also does in compatible with new evolution skin?
We plan to test it.

well your plugin just not work please check your facebook inbox!
ssh is right just getting "error" not really helpful
 
Sorry for missing your message on facebook.

This error in most cases because of missing sshpass tool. Please check if you have it installed using:
which sshpass
 
Is there a way to keep archives too ? One per month for example ?

For example we keep 7 days incremental backups and 3 or 6 monthly backups (naming them archives).
