Hi.

Normally i used Cpanel and Cpanel has the free SSL from Comodo.

Will Directadmin get in future also a own self signed SSL certificate for domains?

Or is there a alternative to free (also wildcard) SSL certificates to Letsencrypt?
How likeley is it, that Letsencrypt is shutting down in the next years and then we would have to switch to a paid SSL or are there some other solutions to get for hundreds of domains /subdomains free SSL certificates?

I only think longterm, because i have to setup 3 severs at moment with a few hundred of domains/subdomains and SSL.

Thanks Richard.
But Comodo is in Cpanel Free.
But as long as Letsencrypt is staying free, its not a problem for me ;-) I only wanted to be informed about it.

Thank you.

Since Let's Encrypt is backed by some very big names it ain't going away any time soon.

If we could predict the future we would all be rich. When people want to charge money they will.
Seems like letsencrypt hasn’t reached that point. They must have an alternate revenue stream. Comodo seems they use the free to paid model now. Since early on the paid model wasn’t for the masses.
Life is all about change so just stay well and keep on rolling.
