Hi Brijesh

I've been watching this with some interest as JetBackup has thrown up nothing but problems in the past so i've simply relied on DA's Admin backup feature as a stop gap should any of my customers need disaster recovery.

I've just installed this on 2 of my servers to test out, and added the resulting licences to my Softaculous account, but they only show up as trial. Is this supposed to happen, or should something else happen?? How would I link the Backuply to my current paid Softaculous licences?

I did the install from the Softaculous Admin Backend, where it was offered by a banner, and it got the license correct.

Nice i saw it automatically installed on my server (because i have softaculous) did not use it yet there it’s missing system backup (got told it’s in the make) but will test for sure :)

@DrWizzle Did you enable auto renewal for these licenses ? The charge will occur only if auto renewal is enabled. If not Backuply will auto detect the Softaculous license and adjust validity on the date of expiry.

Just to make things more clear.

Just install Backuply using the Install button in Softaculous admin panel or using the following guide :

That's it ! You don't need to touch the Backuply license. No need to add it to your account or enable/disable auto renew.

The licensing will be automatically managed if you have a Softaculous Premium license for that IP.

In backuply server i try backup but found bug mysql database not include in backup.
in task log show no database found , also corrupt tar.gz with 0 size inside fullbackup.tar.gz file.
i think it must be resolve soon for missing mysql database in backup its critical.

Just a note: Out of interest, I tried installing Softaculous and Backuply on a Directadmin server a few weeks ago. It wasn't an Intel or AMD, but an Arm VPS. (For reference, had 8 vCPUs and 16GB Ram with 160GB SSD. Directadmin 1.682 , PHP 8.3 and Ubuntu 24.04)

Everything ran fine, Softaculous worked fine and apps like Wordpress installed ok but Backuply failed spectacularly and wouldn't install. The failure also triggered a 503 error when you click the Backuply link in the Admin panel to launch app. I think it may be something to do with the ioncube loader? I didn't check, but wondered if Backuply came with an Arm encoded ioncube loader or just the x86?

Bash:
TERM environment variable not set.

Thank you for using Backuply

I only checked as I'm looking to resell Arm VPS soon and needed a handle on what sort of things are compatible as I know a few things still aren't. Maybe this is something your team can look into @brijesh-soft ?

We are working on ARM support for Backuply.

Is it multi-language?

At the moment no but we will be adding it soon.
