CSF update error notifications...

Dear on my mail server I am getting this error cron notification email message for few nights pls check screenshot attached, what it can be and what to do:

Oops: Unable to download: Can't connect to download.configserver.com:443 (Connection timed out)

Also I found this news link is this any related with that:

Yes it's related. As they stop, also the update server stops. You have seen the thread in the right upper corner of the forum under the "Featured Content"? It's all about that issue.

To fix your issue for the time being, you can disable the auto updates.
You can disable autoupdates via the CSF GUI, or otherwise set the option AUTO_UPDATES = "0" in /etc/csf/csf.conf manually via SSH and restart csf/lfd and then the cron will be automatically removed and will not come back on a restart.

yes but as i heard it will continue to operate via github , do you know when it will become officially maintained on GitHub and how to update it...

CSF in DA is maintained by DA self

No they just gave it free under GPL via github so others can make a fork and work on it, several did. The CSF devs stopped and will do nothing anymore also not on Github.
Like @Active8 said DA has a fork itself and maintains itself now. So best is to keep the one from DA.
