Does DA tranfer from RH9 to Fedora

To answer your question, yes, it will work. DA Backups work on the basic DA setup - bind/exim/apache/proftpd/etc.... all supported OS's run the same software, and use same configurations as far as im aware. Chris

up2date: What's the "official" word of DA?

http://forum.ev1servers.net/showthread.php?threadid=40351 You will need new exim rpms (check my releases for a fedora version) and to re-run ./build all for customapache to rebuild everything You may also need to email Mark to update the license for DA to match the new OS. Chris

up2date: What's the "official" word of DA?

RH9 > Fedora is a fairly easy upgrade, and only involves around 20 minutes downtime for any/all services used externally, with the entire process taking around an hour. Theres always progeny, fedora legacy or custom rpms (or source compiling) you could do instead :) Chris

up2date: What's the "official" word of DA?

And as a note, if you are running any version of redhat prior to RHE or Fedora then the updates will also be out of date. Chris

up2date: What's the "official" word of DA?

DA should automatically configure up2date to skip what may get in the way, that is: pkgSkipList=kernel*;apache*;httpd**;mod_*;mysql*;MySQL*;da_*;*ftp*;exim*;sendmail*;php*; removeSkipList=kernel*;apache*;mod_*;mysql*;MySQL*;da_*;*ftp*;exim*;sendmail*;php*;webalizer*; Kernel can taken from...

    ssl weirdness on comodo certs

Not saying not to use them - but its surely a possibility that when only mozilla * browsers having the problems, t could possibly be an incompatibility or a different root certificate that is not covered by mozilla. If you look at the following: (chainedSSL)...

    ssl weirdness on comodo certs

Sounds like possibly mozilla doesnt have that in its list of trusted certificates. ... And im fairly certain the chained comodo certs are limited to browsers (also, ev1 have a note on their chained certs stating "compatable with ns and ie" (last time i checked)) Chris
