I have requested from DA to use his IP Blacklist feature of the directadmin panel itself, and apply it to the apache server for some time now. This way each user can deny users per domain from the control panel. Still waiting :( now you have to do it manually.

I have a very basic script that allows setup of domains and user accounts using php, however it does not check 1st to see if the domain has been used or not. PM me if you would like a copy of it.

I know that directadmin as a control panel can black list IP's after so much attempts to login. However, I would like to request that this feature be implemented to the user level so that a user may block an IP that could be downloading alot of content, or is "banned" from a site. thanks matt

Nah, its no where close to being there. Its in the /etc/virtual and sub folders it reads domain information from. Just had a brain fart.

Biggest PRoblem Maybe im lost, but the threshold each user sets up, is not taking effect. Its using the default value, 6. I HAVE to have it use the users prefrence. Is there a way to accomplish this? i tried un-commenting the virus scanning part in the exim confs, but still default. Any ideas?

installatron problems Lately, installatron has been giving me problems. With updating packages, it always updates a few packages, but yet when you go to install them, the packages aren't there. ive opened a ticket, waitinf for a fix.

Possibly i haven't figured it to its extent, but i have a suggestion for the addon for domains. To refrence, plesk allows for a User, then for domains for that user, and then the domain has its on FTP. I noticed directadmin just added a directory for the domain, and the virtual-host.conf...

Delete the domain, restart direct admin, re-created the domain. I had the Port Listen problem, and after restarting directadmin, and re-creating the domain, i had no problems.

Restart Directadmin Before you add a domain, restart directadmin with command service directadmin restart . The scripts don't restart it, so after you restart it, it will make the conf right.

Put the routers IP, your PUBLIC ip. Cause when mysql sees the IP, it will be seen from the public IP

Makes me look like a tard, but i forgot to restart directadmin before adding a new domain. DON'T FORGET TO RESTART DIRECTADMIN... Thanks :rolleyes:
