Please tell me what is wrong with this email configuration

and the mail address due to spam. But he can't as new user (first new posts) so I will report it to ask it. @wm.m.thompson This forum is in fact only intended for support to Directadmin license holders, so admins, not for hosting customers. You should contact your host for support. They can...

    My website is "Not-secure"

Never heard of DNS records showing secure, they just show or they don't, probably I'm misunderstanding something. Have you checked your logs to see what is going on? What is the log saying why it's refused? Maybe give your domainname so we can do some checks as to what could be going on.

You're welcome, everybody makes it's own security choices. :)

Can I use a new Standard DirectAdmin license on the same IP that previously had a legacy license?

Be aware!!! @Active8 is right so double warning here. Only legacy licenses can be resold (officially only together with vps or server) and external lifetime maybe but these are also legacy! Modern license are never sold by resellers and are only nulled/hacked versions, often with backdoors in...

Webalizer not able to show IP locations

Is that still up to date? If yes, then it's incomplete, it states: But this directory does not even exists so needs to be created first in that case.

    Softaculous install question

Thank you but we don't whitelist Softaculous ip's, never did, never had issues with it updating. I rather check if it get's blocked, why it gets blocked and take care of it that time.

    DirectAdmin 1.702

No thank you. We got custom strings.conf.custom and variables.conf.custom in place from which we would like the values to keep working. As I guess do a lot more people. As soon as they can be customized in future exim implementations of ESF, it won't be a problem anymore to remove ESF.

How do you educate customers about maintaining their hosting accounts?

Totally agree with that, we totally don't care about a customer if such case would occur. If they start being rude at first we try in a decent way to solve the issue. If they keep being rude they get the choice to either comply to the agreement or find another hoster.

How do you educate customers about maintaining their hosting accounts?

We stopped using Installatron long ago because Softaculous is not only cheaper, but also has better support as we experienced. However, we did warn customers to keep their installations up to date and they get warned that too old versions either get suspended or at a certain point updated by us...

Mitigation for Dirty Frag Linux local privilege escalation vulnerability

Whahaha difficult clients then. I also reboot like 01.00 or 01.30 but downtime is maximum something like 3 minutes if it takes that long. We got 2 vps, they don't even take 20 seconds. Better complaining customers than a root hacked server. I did them all last night, don't want a rooted server.

HOTMAIL - IP has been temporarily rate limited due to IP reputation. For e-mail delivery information, see https://aka.ms/postmaster (S775)

Yep, and auto-reply's from contact forms. We asked all our customers to disable auto reply and if possible just show a notice that the message is received.

Looks like the new kernel updates are released, seen them on Alma 9 now.

    Multiserver, but still dns offline

You need on both servers the A and NS records of both nameservers, also set these ip's up as hostname (not in their DNS but use the option to setup nameservers there), check for GLUE records. If things are working, check intodns.com if your nameservers are indeed seen correctly and are...

Ah now I see what you mean, on that page indeed only the >100 is listed otherwise it shows that none of the ip's have etc... status. Glad to see you got it lifted, but I don't know if they don't have the tools anymore. I also had to wait like a bit more than a week years ago. It sometimes...

    Softaculous install question

Yeah no problem, but root is root and admin is admin, as you said, different accounts, different passwords. No problem asking here, better asked and be safe, then not asked and get things messed up. ;) We don't mind you asking.

    Softaculous install question

There are no stupid questions, only stupid answers. I don't think you can login as admin via SSH but anyway, Softaculous should be installed as root as most of server applications. You can encounter permission issues when doing some other things as root, so it's good to check what and what not...

HOTMAIL - IP has been temporarily rate limited due to IP reputation. For e-mail delivery information, see https://aka.ms/postmaster (S775)

What do you mean by that? If you registered an ip, all ip's should show, we also have low volume but all our ip's are visible. Or am I missing something? What did they answer now? We have in that position several years ago, and then we replied to their default mail that we were not elegible...

Solved Letsencrypt not renewing automatically on 1 account

Has something changed on the LE renewal period? Normally the certs were valid for 90 days and would be renewed after approx. 60 days. Last time an SSL certificate of a customer was not renewed automatically so I had to do it manually. I do not have setup AutoSSL for this domain, but that should...
