changing docroot of domain to a custom one in latest directadmin release

You should be able to change the docroot via directadmin anyway? Maybe it's more helpfull if you can explain which docroot you want to have. Best is to not change any of the template files. There are instructions in the docs how to customize them in a /custom directory. Same for changes in the...

    DirectAdmin 1.703

I'm very curious how that new Exim configuration will be working. Looks very good, Exim won't be talking outgoing to other mailservers on port 25 anymore. Seems a great idea. Just wondering about scripts (so unauthenticated e-mail) which use php mail() but if I'm correct they are not using Exim...

July 2026 – Effectively the end of the DirectAdmin Legacy License

You mean Personal licenses as Personal Plus are already modern licenses. ;)

July 2026 – Effectively the end of the DirectAdmin Legacy License

No, there were more legacy licenses, like Personal license is also legacy and VPS license (not sold for a long time anymore). As for the discount. I thought it was only Standard license but I might be wrong.

July 2026 – Effectively the end of the DirectAdmin Legacy License

Be aware this offer is only for external lifetime licenses, not for internal licenses bought from datacenters as they are not really your property even if bought from them.

July 2026 – Effectively the end of the DirectAdmin Legacy License

A legacy license is the old style licence either Personal license (not the personal plus) Owned VPS license Lifetime external license Internal licenses (either lifetime or otherwise) provided by datacenter/hoster together with a server or VPS. A modern license is a license which you order via...

HOTMAIL - IP has been temporarily rate limited due to IP reputation. For e-mail delivery information, see https://aka.ms/postmaster (S775)

They don't care about content if it is or is not a legitimate mail or a real spam message. They find if they customers mark it as spam then it's spam. And in some cases you really need to have a good score in their systems to get the blockage off, or in your case, bad luck, just wait and hope...

Community SpamAssassin Rules – Feedback & Contributions Welcome

I don't think that's a good one. Because DMARC is almost always failing on a forward which could lead to too many legitimate mails reported as spam. A missing dmarc is not an option for me. Loads of sites don't have dmarc and it's not required either and same with forwards again. So I wouldn't...

HOTMAIL - IP has been temporarily rate limited due to IP reputation. For e-mail delivery information, see https://aka.ms/postmaster (S775)

Probably because most people see JMPR when they log in the SNDS and click on it to see what that is, so it's not explained often. I think they changed something and you don't get the full message anymore (which was before). I read something like that, not sure anymore what part they are not...

Exactly, idiots like I mentioned for example in post #6, lot of false positives and users don't care, they just keep reporting or moving them to spamfolder instead of trash bin which also sets them as spam in the auto learn filter.

Webalizer not able to show IP locations

Thank you. I was just trying to help the TS and couldn't, so I thought maybe you had some insight or idea and indeed you do. Thank you for your responses in this thread. (y) And for bringing this to our attention. Seems we can better remove Webalizer totally from the servers, which I personally...

Webalizer not able to show IP locations

Yes I was already afraid of that. I presume you restarted apache too? It's the reason I wondered if documentation was still up to date. Maybe @zEitEr knows or can ask to update the docs or remove it from docs if it does not work anymore.

    My website is "Not-secure"

But I would first take care your site works with SSL correctly without the errors and then get DNSSEC to work.

Webalizer not able to show IP locations

As I said, you have to create the directory /var/lib/webalizer as it does not exist. You clearly did not do that first, hence the error notice you display in the last screenshot. So first create the /var/lib/webalizer directory and after that use the chmod command.

    My website is "Not-secure"

What do you mean by this, can you elaborate? Because DNS is just things like A records and CNAME etc. in a database. So what exactly want to make secure? Since the SSL for your domain is showing as secure, I don't understand what you mean. That's in contrary of what you say here: It's either...

Please tell me what is wrong with this email configuration

Correct. They provide legacy licenses of Directadmin. Maybe or other licenses but then these would be monthley paid. If your hoster is interserver.net then you should contact them for support and not ask here on the forums. To prevent spam I also would not provide an email address visible on...

and the mail address due to spam. But he can't as new user (first new posts) so I will report it to ask it. @wm.m.thompson This forum is in fact only intended for support to Directadmin license holders, so admins, not for hosting customers. You should contact your host for support. They can...

    My website is "Not-secure"

Never heard of DNS records showing secure, they just show or they don't, probably I'm misunderstanding something. Have you checked your logs to see what is going on? What is the log saying why it's refused? Maybe give your domainname so we can do some checks as to what could be going on.

Can I use a new Standard DirectAdmin license on the same IP that previously had a legacy license?

Be aware!!! @Active8 is right so double warning here. Only legacy licenses can be resold (officially only together with vps or server) and external lifetime maybe but these are also legacy! Modern license are never sold by resellers and are only nulled/hacked versions, often with backdoors in...
