No need, if your license is set for CentOS 8 it will work for Rocky Linux and AlmaLinux.

I converted 6 DA servers from CentOS 8.4 to Rocky Linux using the Rocky Linux migration script. Servers have been up and stable for over 6 weeks, with no problems what so ever.

I hope RockyLinux is the preferred OS:)

I updated my last server to CentOS 8 last week, so I will be sticking to 8 as I am not to worried as we have a year of support. I used FreeBSD back in the mid 2000, I found it very stable on DA but I have not used it for many years, tried Debian 10 a couple of days ago just a standard install...

Thanks mate, works fine on CFS 7 and 8. I am using DNS text entry. I will not be using the auto reporting feature.

I have been running CentOS 8 for more than a couple of months on my KVM VPS's with no problems. I have not switched my dedicated server over yet, still running CentOS 7.

I have used DA since 2005, never had a problem with support, the only times I needed support was for IP changes.
