2 servers = 2 lisenses ?

Hi all,

I'm French, so please excuse me for my little level of English language :D

I have 1 server. Direct Admin is installed. Unfortunatly, I haven't yet enough disk space and enough memory for installing new webistes on it.

So, I have to buy a second server.

But, is it possible to not install Direct Admin on this new one, and manage my 2nd server starting from the first ?

Or should I buy a 2nd lisense ? (I hope so NOT ! :D)

DA is licensed per server. Additionally, DA doesn't offer multi-server management at this time.

You can certainly manage your clients manually; some of us did that for years before DA (and earlier control panels came along).

We started offering webhosting back in 1995. There were no control panels then.

We find DirectAdmin to be worth every penny we pay for it :) .

Be sweet if DA did have a semi-multimanaged server...have the Admin part on main server, and reseller/user parts on others..one place to manage all...ahh..one can dream..
 
One can certainly dream.

It would require a major rewrite.

We've got to stop asking John and Mark for additional stuff for version 1 so they can eventually start thinking about version 2.
