A big problem with the database

The hosting company has tried to update the statistics and the problem started suddenly by this error:

Database Error: Unable to connect to the database:Could not connect to MySQL

all my sites like that!
when i try tosigin phpmyadmin iget this error:

phpMyAdmin - error

#2002 - The server does not respond (or the local MySQL server's socket is not correctly configured)

Restart mysql.
