HI

I been using DirectAdmin since 2004 but never had the change to install it on a server

now I am about to install it in our work environment to use its APIs.

I have RedHat box with 10.x.x.x IP address which is nated to public IP 5.x.x.x

In the box the configured interface eth3 has that IP 10.x.x.x

From the server I can ping google.com and from any other server outside the network it can ping the public IP 5.x.x.x which is natd to 10.x.x.x

I know that we can't use 10.x.x.x on DirectAdmin but if I want to go for the unofficial way described here http://www.directadmin.com/lan.shtml

Which IP I need to register with DirecAdmin as a licensed IP
the 10.x.x.x or 5.x.x.x ?

keeping in mind that 5.x.x.x is nated to 10.x.x.x via firewall and it's not configured anywhere in the box that hold 10.x.x.x

looking for your help.

You must register DirectAdmin to a publicly routable IP#; in your case 5.x.x.x.
