I have DA on debian 3.1. Since yesterday i got a lot of PID's (100+) in the httpd service and also in the mysqld service. When i restart the httpd service everything is looking good for a few seconds but then PID's come back. It slow down my server and mysql server a lot.

Is there a solution for it??
 
That's perfectly normal.
You might need to optimize apache and mysql according to your needs.

I don't think it's normal.

I'd guess you've got some stuck processes.

To get rid of them, try restarting both mysqld and html through the control panel.

That should bring the number, and your server load, down.

Maybe a bad optimization was made? Consult your dedi provider or server admin for server optimization guidance.
