A Question On Usage Logs

Hi ive had my own site for a few months now but i have a question on what are the usage logs in the admin panel? what is the information that is there used for? and what exactly is the information telling me about my site.
I am really a beginner in having my own website but have done well so far in working out whats what but these usage logs are baffling me.

You should probably ask your hosting company to explain your logs for you.
