The ability to designate a default domain for an IP address is needed to allow testing domains before switching DNS pointers and going live.

Thanks!

I'm not sure what you're asking.

Do you mean when you type in an IP# you should get a specific domain?

The way to do that is to set up the user for that IP#.

Currently, when you have a shared IP address on a domain, either the name needs to be resolved or you cannot run the site to test it before it goes live. What I'm asking for is the ability to designate a default domain so that it can be tested prior to going live. Currently if you type in an IP address of a shared IP, you get the Apache default page.

DA has no facility to automate the necessary change to the /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf file.
