ablity to not setup dns zone records on domain(s)

I would like to see a feature to disable dns zones for customers that use there own name servers rather than having to going and disable it manually by deleting the db and conf files for those domains.

Or having a check box while setting up the domain to have it create the DNS record:

[ ] Check this to add a standard DNS record
 
Fairly sure this has been requested previously and it may be on the feature list already :)

Hello,

That will probably come when we add options to have complete features on/off. (ftp, email, dns, etc).. it would completely skip over any features that are off.

That's quite a huge change.. won't be for a while.. but it basically will parrallel the packages.. probably have a 3rd option to have the feature enabled:

eg:

pop accounts: [ 25 ] [] unlimited [] enabled

If you need it now.... you could setup a script to delete the DNS as the site is created (although it would have to be for all domains...)

John, would it be possible to add a custom "optional" field into the skin and have it passed into the upon domain creation / removal scripts

Not looking to have this included on the default skin - or released as an actual feature as of yet however if anyone who wants it can use a custom skin with 1 extra field and setup an extra script (using the domain creation / removal scripts) - I would be happy to write up a script to setup everything including the skin correctly for anyone who needs it - providing we can get the option to add the extra field to the form :)
