Hi Folks... in the newer versions of DA (with the SpamBlocker Exim.conf) and Spamassassin 3.x, how important is it to have a functional local.cf file? IE, one that has entries that are not commented out. I have looked around various sources and have seen different opinions. However, with a server using DA, is it important to use it? I assume that DA creates a user settings file that governs things by domain when you install and allow a domain access to it.

Comments please.

This is related to spamassassin.
i myself don't use it, all stay commented.
I prefer use a personalized file.cf in /etc/mail/spamassassin/, i don't want to loose the content with each updute.
