This is a very intriguing problem, since only one of our customers has it, but no other. This particular user gets this error on our server's DA (ssl) login page...

Forbidden
You were denied access because:
Access denied by access control list.

Some peculiar facts...

--> he can access his website, ftp, smtp, POP all fine.
--> he can access SSL sites all fine.
--> he can access http://directadmin.com:2222 fine
--> he can access Plesk login on one of our other servers which is SSL and Port 8443

Yet, no matter what he does, he cannot access the DA login page. Cache has been emptied, offline files removed, system rebooted etc., yet nothing.

Can any suggest anything at all...since its working for us and our other customers, so really stumped by this.

yup, that is correct. And there's also that 403 error that says access denied by ACL, that error is very odd too.

sorry to bring this old thread back to life. has anyone found a solution to this error?

Thanks
Brian

Well, if you google the exact words you used in the title of this post and click on "I feel lucky" you might find your answer, or at least some idea.

If not, then just do a regular google search to find approximatley 23,800,000 pages of answers.
