Access directadmin /cpanel alias

I recently upgraded DA to 1.663 and Apache to 2.4.59 and lost my domain.com/cpanel redirection to domain.com:2222
My server is configured to use nginx_apache.

Did not change any other configuration other than the updates.

Any idea how to get it back? Customers are used to accessing their control panel through that shortcut link instead of the port.

In order to help you we need more information. How did you make the things working before? What error or what behaviour do you get now?

Think I had created a PHP redirection script located at /var/www/html/cpanel/index.php and made an Alias in Apache configuration.

Don't know why the upgrade removed that line from the Apache configuration. Anyway, all is well now, thanks.

If you directly modified any file from the Apache's configuration, then that's the explanation. You might check the link and use an official way to customize Apache:
