Hi guys,

First off, I am not a technical person. Hence I do not know much about web hosting management, requirements and the lingo. I find it amazing that I got to where I am running website with the Direct Admin Panel provided.

I plan to hire a freelance web host manager to ensure my web host settings is correct and all recommended settings are done. If there are any gaps, the hired person should be able to set it up for me.

What user level access should I give to the hired freelancer without allowing him to be able to compromise my website? Admin access? Reseller acces? User access?

Also, how do I create that additional account?

I'm sorry to tell you, but if you need to hire someone that need to configure/improve your server (stability, monitoring, performance, etc.) you would need to give that person root access probably, it means that yes, he can actually do bad thing, but still, you would need to carefully choose the person to hire anyway :)

On this forum i may feel safe to suggest Zeiter and smtalk, of course, i do this kind of service too, so, feel free to contact one of those or me if you need a quotation.

Best regards
