But i have a timeout problem can't connect. I'd like to increase memory but don't know how to creat a my.cnf file. could it be possible to reach the folder with ftp ?

Your server will have high load. You may need to stop some services and reduce load and ssh . Another options is to reboot it.

With default ProFTPd settings you won't do that. Is your server accessible with directadmin? Apache?

I don't know, what is going on with your server. If it's accessible and sites are not available, probably you need to restart it. Contact your hosting provider.

problem solved. i needed to ask an root access to my provider

Most of us know we get added security by not allowing ssh to login as root, but rather as admin, and then su to root.
