Access to Nextcloud fails, Rewrite WEB server configuration files solves problem

On a regular base, my Nextcloud setup is unreachable. Restarting httpd and php-fpm56 does not solve this. However, if I issue the command to rebuild the web server configuration files from within CB, the files can be accessed.

I do not see any messages in /var/log/messages, the Nextcloud logs or the httpd logs.

Does anyone know what could cause such a problem?

Check apache's server-status and logs for more details. It seems you've got an issue either with Apache or PHP-FPM due to overload.
