I'm getting some very weired messages from DA:

This is an automated message notifying User [A] that 4e-06% of his/her bandwidth and 127.37% of his/her allocated disk space has been used up.

It is estimated, at the current rate of use, that the account bandwidth will be used up in 24999999.00 days, at which time the account will be suspended for the remainder of the month.

The User should contact Support if this is an issue.

One thing is that 4e-06% is a strange number, the other is why the heck would it allow someone to use 127% of their account? I have checked "suespend at limit", but apparantly that didn't do the trick. Any thoughts?

Cheers,

Hello,

DA only suspends based on bandwidth. It doesn't suspend on disk space because if the account it suspended, they can't remove any of the over usage data (ie: delete files).

As for the strange numbers, they're just in scientific notation. 4e-06 is the same as 0.000004% .. hence why it will take so long to use up the bandwidth ;) . The message just includes both stats (bandwith and disk usage) even though you'll only be interested in one of them (in this case disk usage).

It would be up to you to contact the user to arrange for him to use less space, or to purchase a plan with more space.

Ah, I see. I was extra confused by the fact that one hour earlier DA notified me that the user "has used up 100.146%". But I guess that was just before midnight 31st jan - 1st feb. So DA probably opened his account automatically again and just gave him time to upload 127% of his account.

Just the sort of user we all would love to have...

Thanks for the clarification!
