Hi!
Pretty green to DirectAdmin, hope I can get some advice from all the great experts here.

I currently have a singel website and domain on a VPS. Now I want to create a new website/domain on my server. Have a few questions about this.

I've gotten past the first step and created the domain in DirectAdmin on User level. What is the next step? The domain is with a domain registrar Company.

1. My VPS has an IP-adress, do I need a new IP-adress for my second website? Or can both sites use the same IP?

2. My nameservers are ns1.domain.com and ns2.domain.com (where domain is my first website). Should I create new nameservers for my new domain? I see that I can do this in the Reseller level.

3. My domain registrar for the new domain has a DNS-editor, but I'm not sure what information goes there. Is there any general guide for this?

You probably see I'm quite noobish, but I appreciate all the help I can get!

You don't need one unless you're going to use Secure Certificates for both sites. But if even one of them is going to need a Secure Certificate it will be much easier for a beginning server administrator to use separate IP#s, one for each domain, and one for the server.

That's entirely up to you. If you decide to do so, then you'll need to register the nameserver names at the registrar where your domain is registered. We really can't tell you how to do that, because different registrars do it differently and even call the process by different names.

This is NOT the same as registering nameservers, and you probably shouldn't do it; you're probably better of letting DirectAdmin do it for you. But you _should_ have more than one nameserver, so perhaps using the registrar's DNS service will be a better option for you. If you decide to use it you'll need to be sure all the records are properly added and set to point to your server.

As a complete newbie you would do better to let someone else manage your server, or even only your DNS, for you (we can do both) but this can be expensive. Our DNS slave starts as low as $10 per month, but you can of course get another VPS and manage slave DNS yourself. Or you can ignore it, but it's not a good idea. For more help/suggestions please let us know both domain names.
