Adding domain to the same file

Question 1
my customer wants to change his domain from domain1.com to domain2.com (both namesever already poitned) without transfering his files.

i cannot find the options to change the domain.

my customer has 1st domain domain1.com

and recently he buy a new domain, domain2.com he asked if he can have both domain pointed to the same files?
 
You will want to setup a domain pointer. Go into the user panel and select the domain pointers option. Enter domain2.com into the source domain field and check create as an alias. That should allow both domain1.com and domain2.com to resolve to the same files on the server. Hope this helps. Thx.
 
i have tried entering domain2 into the domain pointer. but the 2 domains do not work like 1.. the 2nd domain give me a

They now have to add content to this directory and replace this placeholder page, or else point the server at their real content.

instead, it should be giving me a website of domain1.com
 
Keep in mind that whenever you make any changes to DNS, it can take some time (even a few hours) for the changes to take affect. The change has to propogate throughout the other DNS servers on the Internet.
