Adding More IP for accounts

Hi,

I've 5 Ips on my server, the first (main) IP is set on hostname: server.mydomain.com
Now I added the second IP in IP Management and then I went to DNS Administration and Added a New Zone with that IP (server2.mydomain.com). Now I want to know that the mail, smtp, ftp etc will Bind themselves to that IP or I need to do something manually?

If the 5 ip's were on your server originally then all the services are probably already listening on those ip's. If you just now added them then you probably need to restart some services like named.

Is there a limit to add IP on one server with directadmin ?

How many will your provider give you ?

We've seen servers running an entire /24 (class C allocation).

As Jeff mentioned, DirectAdmin has no limit, the limit is that of the box and the network. You can pile them in as long as things still work
