Hi,
I am trying to setup an admin backup to my home FTP server for offsite back-up. It's not ideal, but it's a temporary solution.
My home IP address is dynamic so I use a dynamic DNS solution. My domain name xxx.tplinkdns.com always links to my current IP address.
When setting up the admin backup, it only accepts an IP address for the target backup server. Not a domain name. This makes it impossible to work with a target with a dynamic IP address as target backup server. Why is this? Can it be manually overridden somehow? It shouldn't be this hard to get Directadmin to transfer files to a domain name in stead of an IP address.
This is the error I see:
Error during Cron Modification
Invalid IP/Domain for the ftp connection
